Much of what was said about tachism is of equal relevance to the subject of morphistic minimalism. For example, in the case of monochrome paintings, the artist is confronted with the option to choose a hue out of an infinite number of hues and combine it with a specific contour to be selected from an equally, unlimited number of possible shapes.

The result is a subtile combination of two most basic elements: Colour and form. Despite limiting himself to the monochrome theme, the artist´s task is substantially complex and while the picture plane remains a pure monochrome field and minimalism is preserved, the morphistic monochrome composition as a whole becomes distinctively unique.
