Born in Reutte, Tyrol/Austria
At the age of three moves with parents to Salzburg.
Primary and secondary education in Salzburg.

Graduation from the public high school and in the same year moves to the U.S.
University education in various parts of the States including Missouri (Bachelor of Arts degree), California, Cleveland (B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Case Western Reserve University), Chicago.

1986 |
Return to Europe. Various employments.
Extensive travel to Africa and East Asia. Design of furniture. Drawings.

1997 |
Moves with wife and three children to Bermuda to exclusively work with art. Four semesters of studies in Art & Design at the Bermuda College.
Landscape paintings. Strong interest in the art of Piet Mondrian.

Group exhibition at the Bermuda College. First morphistic paintings on Bristol board.

1999 |
First morphistic paintings on canvas. Protection granted through the Registered Designs Act on numerous shapes in Europe and other parts of the world.
Participation at the Salon in Paris.
Interested in the works of Malewitsch and Suprematism.

Exhibiting with the FNCF-Group in Paris.
Studying the works of Pollock. A great series of drip paintings including some paintings, of large size, are produced.
Getting familiar with the works of Motherwell, de Stael and Kelly.

2001 |
Completion of monochrome paintings in small and large sizes. They are considered the purest form of Morphism.

Exhibiting with the Bermuda Society of Arts.
Several paintings of large size in open air .
Group exhibition in the Edinburgh Galary, Hamilton.

Employing new materials; first drip-paintings on alu-net surface in combination with canves.
Membership with the Bermuda Society of Art.

Getting familiar with the works of Barnett Newmann. Membership and exhibiting with the Salzburg Society of professional artists (BV Berchtoldsvilla).

Employing the alu net in stripes only.
Considering large size drawings and images on paper using morphistically shaped plexi glass frames.
